Ever Feel Frustrated? Impatient?
My Purpose and Fulfillment coach, Johanna Ashley, suggested to me this affirmation to assist me in moving through a particular period in which I felt frustrated that I wasn't exactly where I wanted to be, at the time I wanted it to happen, a feeling that we all experience at some time or other.
"I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now and by finding the enjoyment in each little moment, I have faith that everything will work out to my benefit and that the universe will naturally provide for me all that I could ever wish for."
This affirmation has been one of the more powerful tools I have used in my own spiritual development. It assisted in easing the situation I was in and gave me a release from the impatience and frustration I was experiencing, so I decided to break it down and see what it was really all about. Read on in Part 2.
Exactly where I am supposed to be right now.......
We are all here on earth with a soul purpose and in order to achieve and realize that purpose we all have our own lessons to learn along the way.
We are following a journey on a map that has many different routes and with our own free will we are able to choose which route we take. Along each route we will be faced with the lessons we need to learn in order to unlock the key to the next part of the path. We can change path whenever we wish however if we don't learn the lesson required we continue to encounter it again and again on any path we take. So it doesn't matter where you are right now. Sit back and ask yourself, "What is the lesson I need to learn from this experience?", take on that learning and you will naturally progress forward to the next phase, ready to take on your next lesson, all in the direction of achieving your soul purpose.
Find the enjoyment in each little moment.......
Do you ever find yourself saying things like - I'll be happy when I get out of this financial mess, I'll be happy when I get that perfect job, I'll be happy when I have the time to do what I want to do.
How can we possibly expect to be happy when we make the deal with ourselves that we will only be happy "when" something happens when, in order for those things to happen we have to be happy? Bit of a vicious circle hey?
Knowing and accepting that we are on a path towards experiencing the ultimate in happiness and satisfaction, and that along the way we will face challenges and hurdles that are all for our own benefit, then it makes perfect sense to enjoy each and every moment of the journey.
We need to learn to embrace and appreciate every little experience that is presented to us. In practicing this myself I found that not only was life less stressful, it also became more exciting. The lighter I became about life, the more grateful for each experience I became, the more aware I became of what was on offer for me and the more that was offered to me.
Faith that everything will work out to my benefit.......
One of the biggest hurdles we have to overcome in discovering and living our spiritual paths is having the FAITH that all will be OK and that there is a force much larger than the physical that we can see, supporting us and guiding us through life.
This has been proven to us time and time again. Think back to a time when you were in a challenging situation. One where you thought that you may never come out the other side, where you felt as if you were stuck forever. And then something changed, and you moved on, in to a situation where doors were opened and you had grown to a level that was better than where you had come from before.
We can all think of some situation like this. It's not that we are ignorant to this fact or even unaware that this is the case however our past conditioning is so ingrained that at times, our faith weakens and we question and doubt this powerful force in our lives. During these challenging times we need to draw on these past experiences and use them to strengthen our faith in the fact that everything is exactly how it should be and
The Universe will naturally provide for me all that I could ever wish for.......
The Universe has an abundance of offerings and gifts on hand for our use, everything we could ever wish for is at our fingertips. It is only when we let our Ego, our past experiences and conditioning get in the way that we are blinded to this fact and detach ourselves so much that we can't see it to receive it. When we can tame our Ego and release our past experiences and conditioning we allow the space to open up to all that is on offer to us.
So when you find yourself in a situation where frustration and impatience are the domineering feelings in the experience, try practicing this affirmation to assist you in releasing the tension and enabling you to move forward quicker.
"I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now and by finding the enjoyment in each little moment, I have faith that everything will work out to my benefit and that the universe will naturally provide for me all that I could ever wish for."

Yes yes yes. Faith is a huge component in it all. The funny thing is that when you start to have faith, become detached and experience happiness and joy in every moment it is THEN that all the joys and wonders of the universe come to us more. When we see the world as a joyous place, that is exactly what we will receive in return. Brilliant post, great reminder :)
