Male and Female Energy

Lately I've been feeling a little "out of sorts". Something has been going on for me and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I started by trying to "fix" it, to analyse it, work it out and make the changes needed to get through it and end it. Then I remembered that all is as it should be. Every experience we have, every emotion we feel, is for a reason and is happening in perfect timing. All is perfect. I chose to just go with it, not against it. To be aware and experience it, not controlling and against it. I knew that by doing so, the lessons and answers would come to me.....and they did.

Today a beautiful friend of mine called me (you know who you are and I love you), excited to share with me some knowledge that I needed to hear at that precise time. We spoke about the male and female energies within us and how these can get out of balance, if too much leading to a place of total disconnection from anything and everything. Exactly how I was feeling.

As a single mum, and I'm sure many other single mums can relate to this, we can be inclined to let the male energy take over. This energy is what is needed to create, plan, be highly focused, all the things we are required to have and do as the only parent in the household. We are the mum and the dad and the expectations we hold of this combined role often lead us to over compensate the male energy and give it dominance. We forget about, become disconnected from, the female energy of our selves. The energy that is light, compassionate to self and directly connected to our soul.

So I was now aware of this and could totally feel and resonate with what was happening for me at that moment. I needed to bring the balance of energy back in to my life. With this awareness and intention, I asked the questions needed to find a way to do that and come across this article. A channeling of Jeshua by Pamela Kribbe titled "Connecting to Your Inner Boy and Girl". Within it is a process you can carry out, a meditation of sorts, that enables you to make that connection. For me it has been it has been beautiful to carry out and effective as well, hence my reason for sharing it with you. I hope that you find value from it as well.

Calling All Single Mothers on the Sunshine Coast!

It's been a long time coming but the Universe has finally opened up the space for me to put together a Single Mums Group. This group is not about moaning and groaning about the challenges and frustrations of being a single mum. It's about gracefully and graciously accepting our role in life, learning about ourselves from it, and using it to create a life of satisfaction for both ourselves and our families.

Find out more about it and share it with your friends.
